My journey into nonalcoholic (NA) beverages began over 30 years ago during happy hour at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. It was there I discovered that cocktails could be beautiful, flavorful, and entirely alcohol-free. At home, I often served special drinks in elegant glassware to my daughters, Callan and Morgan, and their friends. It was my first glimpse into what true inclusivity could look like.

When I stopped drinking in 2014, those early experiences became the foundation for my mission: to make everyone feel welcome, no matter what’s in their glass.

With a career spanning television advertising, photography, website building, life coaching and events , I’ve always loved creating meaningful experiences. Living in Minneapolis, I’ve watched the NA beverage scene expand and have been proud to contribute to it through Zero Proof Collective, which I co-founded in 2022.

My love of cooking and entertaining found new life in developing elevated NA cocktails. I believe this industry is just getting started, full of vibrant flavors, surprising botanicals, and real potential to connect people. The most powerful moments are when someone takes a sip, pauses, and realizes they’re experiencing something exceptional.

After hundreds of hours reflecting on our events, I’ve seen that those of us in the NA space share the same goal: to surprise and delight. When the work is hard, those shared moments of connection keep me going.
